Words that wound
Words that bind,
Words from the mouth which twist in the mind.

Words so powerful and so strong,
Words misappropriated, 
Words so wrong

Words wound or heal
Words give life or steal
Words more than letters
Words ruffle our feathers 

Words tether us to defeat 
Words make us strong on our feet.

Words bring strife
Words bring life

Words 

What will you do with your words? 

With our words we can be their hero, 
We can be their zero.
We can be their hope in all things
We can be their despair
We can show them we care
We can fortify
We can let them rely
We can resuscitate
We can suffocate
We can edify
We can defy
We can ameliorate
We can repudiate

We can do so much good, we can do so much bad, it’s our choice. 
With our words we offer life or death. 
Words, a sequence of letters which derive profound meaning.
