Gratitude Poem

Good morning Lord so thankful for all you do and what you tell, 
Thank you for your spirit and we can live under his spell

Thank you for the birds which sing 
For the beauty and joy which they bring

Thank you for friendship so dear
Especially when there is a sister near.

Thank you for your kindness I’ve inherited
And when you offer it  unmerited.

Thank you for your still small voice 
And you let me still have a choice

Thank you for lifting my burden high off me
Thank you for carrying it and setting me free.

Thank you for your love so real
Thank you for the peace I feel

Thank you for your presence true
When I feel happy and when I feel blue

With me always never alone, 
I can rest in knowing you’re on the throne 

As I wander and I as I walk, 
I hear your whisper, I hear you talk.

Lead me forward on your path straight and smooth
To bring you glory and my fears to sooth.

Your way is filled with peace and power,
You are my rock and strong tower. 

I love you Lord with all my heart
Thank you each day with you I start.
